The arts have been a central focal point for Paul Krasnoo, Krasnoo Design's founder, throughout his life. He has come to understand that design and art are not completely separate entities, but instead overlapping crafts.
At age eleven, Krasnoo began studying with the now late Nancy Angell-Rickenbacker -- Angell-Richenbacker herself studied with the likes of Pablo Picasso and Oscar Kokoschka. By age seventeen, Krasnoo had already received a Congressional Award for Creative Merit and the coveted Andrew Carnegie Scholarship.
Through his continued studies with Angell-Rickenbacker and at Cornell University, Krasnoo developed an understanding for the principles of line, color, balance, proportion and harmony. These principles became the foundation for not only his art, but for all of Krasnoo Design's work as well.
